From the Club Qualifying Period for the 2024 Competition (1st Jan - 31st December 2023) 

So for the  2024 competition the following applies:

1. Qualifying Period will be 1st January to 31st December 2023.

2. Max. H/C Index is 54.

3. All the 18 hole, fully completed, individual handicap qualifying club competitions are "Race to Woodhall Spa" Club Qualifying Rounds.

4. Clubs must run a minimum of 4 Club Qualifying Rounds to enable a Club Winner to be produced.

5. Competitions do not have to be nominated as Race to Woodhall Spa Qualifying Rounds

6. The Club Winner of the Race to Woodhall” shall be calculated using the "Race to Woodhall Spa" Report on the Club’s WHS Portal.

7. The Club Winner shall be the player with the lowest aggregate of 4 nett differentials.

8. Only the player identified on the report will be allowed to compete in the Regional Final. Should a club submit another player the club will not be able allowed to compete in the Regional Final. Should the club not submit a player the memento will have to be requested from England Golf.

9. In the event of a tie the winner shall be decided on the lowest aggregate of the lowest 3 scores, then the lowest 2 scores, then lowest 1 score.

Jane Vines won the Chichester Race to Woodhall Spa with a nett score differential of -19.2 over her four best qualifying scores and qualified to play in the area final at Bramshaw Golf Club on Sunday 9th June.

After a tricky start Jane grew in confidence and finished with a good back nine.  Jane appreciated having Mandy Roelich last year's Chichester Ladies qualifier caddying for her. Jane had a respectable 28pts finishing tied 31st out of the 61 qualifiers. The winner was a lady from Barton-on-Sea Golf Club who had 45pts!!
