The Maximum Handicap Index for Cup Competitions  changed  on October 1st 2022

Before the WHS competitions were generally played off a Handicap of 36.

The Handicap Committee has looked at our Cup Competitions and spoken to those who have donated the

Trophies. It has been agreed that the Competitions should be played off a maximum Playing Handicap of 36.

This will mean that the Maximum Handicap Index for Singles  Strokeplay Cup Competitions will be 35.3 for the Cathedral

competitions and 34.8 for the Tower Competitions, to give a Maximum Playing Handicap of 36.

It will be different for some other competitions including match play competitions according to the playing allowance.
